Mistress Kittens Kinks

My biggest passion of course is READING! No surprise there. I enjoy most all romance but the darker the better.

Backstage Pass

Backstage Pass - Elizabeth Nelson 3.5 "Almost There' Stars

This book was that pretty looking guy that you take home, says all the right things. You are panting ready for more but when you get into the bedroom ….
You wanna know what happen don't you?? So do I?
Well written, got the bones for a great series. All I see is rumors.

Real Talk: Loved the story, kinda got rushed at toward 80%. But not enough to deter. The MC's are just finally getting together @ around 93%. See my problem?
This is my first read by the author. Ill definitely read more by her. Especially since I'm hopeful for book 2.

GAME MISCONDUCT (The Dartmouth Cobras)

Game Misconduct - Bianca Sommerland 3.5 'Flag on the Play=Too Many Ppl in the Bed' Stars

This is my first gangbanger. Plus the BDSM lifestyle makes it a great recipe for training a unsuspecting submissive.
The 5 guys are all Hockey players and the chica is the owner of the Teams daughter, Oriana Delgado.

Dislikes:
-Couldn't keep the guys names straight during the gang banging scene.
-Strike above. I couldn't keep the guys name straight period. A headache. Note: This will most likely be the deal breaker.
-Half way through some of guys drop out of running and their back story died w/them. I need closure.
-The story still left a lot of questions unanswered.

LIkes:
-Its a series. I liked it enough that I will continue w/the series.
-After the gang banging, 90% menage.

Beauty From Pain (Beauty, #1)

Beauty From Pain (Beauty, #1) - Georgia Cates ★★★1/2 Stars
For the first book in the series it definitely drew me in. It had a slow beginning but once the relationship was underway the story really picked up.

Rich millionaire alpha male meets and proposes a emotionally detached arrangement because thats all he knows to poor young inexperienced struggling musician. He showers her w/gifts and he becomes increasingly possessive of her through the book.
" You're mine. Do you understand?"
"Yes!" I scream partly because it's my answer, but mostly because what he's doing feels so good.
"I want you to say it."
We're sideways on the bed and each thrust shoves me farther across the mattress until my head is hanging off the edge. "I'm...yours...and...no...one...else's."
"No one else touches you here like this."

Does it sound familiar? But can't help read one more story like this?
Yea, I have this problem too. The rest of the series books are already on my TBR list just not top 10. Ill definitely get there.

If Only (Masters of the Shadowlands)

If Only - Cherise Sinclair 3.5 'If Only It Was Better' Stars

You never forget your first especially when it introduces you to things you Never knew existed. Made FSoG look like the teddy bear from the Snuggles commercial. The Masters of Shadowlands series is the handbook for BDSM for me. The men in this series are Masters.

You know the book your reading has a true Master/Alpha when:
-you feel like you have to lower your head
-your screaming at the submissive for her bravado moves
-you never question your Master commands.

I was feigning for this book. I mean getting this book on day of release. CS teased me with Sally antics and how the FBI boys made her nervous every time they interacted.

I felt for the first Menage book in the series it was solid. It was great to know there was more to Sally then the attractive young submissive. The dynamic duo Doms Galen and Vance was new to me. They worked together fluidly in scenes. The bound and learning more about their background was intriguing. Best part of course for me is catching up w/the crew.

Real Talk: The story had some inconsistency throughout. In the case of the Doms being referred to as "uber Doms" but the softer sweeter side was mostly seen.
As far as the Menage aspect it was good related to BDSM. I still hope there is more from this series.

Mystery Man (Dream Man, #1)

Mystery Man (Dream Man, #1) - Kristen Ashley 4 'You get me? Yeah?' Stars

Come Away With Me (With Me in Seattle, #1)

Come Away With Me (With Me in Seattle, #1) - Kristen Proby 4 'I vow that I enjoyed this book' Stars
Sweet, romantic and light hearted.
No real drama.
This is the book you read after reading dark erotica.
Reminds you that if you have a boo-boo, maybe you should show them some love.
This is my first read from this author. KP, solid work.
Favorite part:
"I can't ever imagine my life without you. You are the center of my world, Nat. I want to love you, protect you, fight with you, make babies with you and spoil the shit out of you for the rest of my life."

Smooth muthaf***a, isn't he?
Lastly, is it just me or did you think she was going to get some sort of tattoo. Have a deep saying written in Tahitian or something maybe 'Nightwalker'.

Silver Fire (Guardians, #2)

Silver Fire - Victoria Paige 3.5 Cliche Stars
I enjoyed all the action and romance in this story. Also how the MC's from the first book [b:Fire and Ice|17841292|Fire and Ice|Victoria Paige|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1366761286s/17841292.jpg|24495611] where incorporated in this story.
Derek Longwood was the classic alpha male/caveman millionaire w/Special Forces training.
Sophie Leroux, is a the nerd that is new to relationship due to a tragic pastShe appeared to be strong and resilient with a shyness around men. But when outside forces want the research she has been working on she becomes the damsel in distress.(Eye Rolling)
She requests security for protection but won't follow their lead and continually puts her and her friends in harms way. She suppose to be a Nuclear Physicist but can't figure out why ppl are out to get her/find her.
Overall I love how Derek and Sophie come together and how they work past her fears and his fear of commitment.
I hope the next book in this series is of Victor and Marissa. Would've nice to find out about Victor's kinks.

Truth (Finding Anna, #3)

Truth (Finding Anna, #3) - Sherri Hayes 5 'Protector' Stars
Because nobody protected my emotions from this book!

I'm going to start w/ALL the Negative:
1. Found this on the last page
Look for final installment in Stephan and Brianna's story coming 2014.
2. Seriously wait until 93% to plant the waterwork scene then fade to black.
3. Why am I cradling my reader like a child?
4. Why???
5. Why????

No spoilers here because nobody gave me any. Yeah, I'm that spiteful.
This book is the 3rd installment in Finding Anna. Brianna/Anna is working on rebuilding a life for herself w/the help of Stephan. Brianna being less afraid and exploring a feelings for Stephan. It's only been 3 mos since coming out of her ordeal and she has a lot of child-like thought processes. Never once did I roll my eyes.
I felt that everything appeared appropriate and relative to her situation and absolutely not rushed.
The question that is continually challenged throughout all the books is wouldn't she have been better of in therapy?
Me:Nope! Maybe once she has gotten over her other anxieties.
I liked how they continued to address the issue of negative connotations related to BDSM. BDSM=Abuser. Makes you remember that society can be that narrow minded.

Chasing Dreams (Devil's Bend, #1)

Chasing Dreams (Devil's Bend, #1) - Nicole Edwards 3.5 'Yee-Hawing' Stars

Though I enjoyed the story, i found that it got repetitive at times. The issues that Tessa created in her mind had me rolling my eyes several times over.
Tessa was portrayed as this strong and resilient female and half way through the book became this wishy washy mush that cried over the smallest thing.
Cooper on the hand I enjoy. His search for something more and wanting to find a home is refreshing. Call me, Cooper if it doesn't work out w/Tessa.

Sex scenes: mild

Do hope here is a story for Dalton and Katie and Tessa' brother Jack.

Slave

Slave - Sherri Hayes 5 'dominant therapy' stars

Thanks to EE Author Challenge through Bookies Lending Group for helping me discover this precious gem. I have to admit this book was way down on my TBR list. Now I'm smacking myself in the head for not reading it sooner. Bravo to SH for a job well done, you are on my watch list.

I enjoyed this book immensely. Written in dual POV. The slow progression of character development was the page turner for me. This is easily a book you want to keep and re- read.
Don't except to find whips, spanking and ties but rather the growing relationship of D/s after abuse (severe). Understanding the amount awareness and responsibility goes into being a proper Dom.

I needed book 2 [b:Need|13605496|Need (Finding Anna, #2)|Sherri Hayes|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1343373415s/13605496.jpg|19200254] @ about 60%.

The Reluctant Dom

The Reluctant Dom - Tymber Dalton 5 'The stocks in Kleenex went up' Stars
Tissue required reading.

This definitely joins the favorite ménage book list. The story was well written. It's told in first person by Seth. Loved the interaction between the best friends, Seth and Kaden.

Kaden, a Master, is dying. He wants his best friend, Seth, to take care of his wife/slave, Leah, after he's gone. Seth doesn't know about the couples BDSM lifestyle and their desire to have a ménage w/him. Through the story Seth learns about the lifestyle and grows better understanding.

The relationship between the couple and Seth is beautiful.
Though there is nothing sexual between Seth and Kaden, their love for each other will move you.

You will cry, a lot.
You will laugh and fall in love.
And of course, you will clench deliciously enjoying the sex/ménage/BDSM scenes.
P.S. You'll also look for more books by this author. I know I have.

The end.

Willing Captive

Willing Captive - Belle Aurora Likes:
Funny, like I'm still laughing from moments in the book while I write funny.
Enjoyed the chemistry btn the MC's
Clever cover. Screams dark read but that's so far from it.
We'll written. Dual POV.

There are moments that my eyes reached for the heavens from the MC, Lily, antics.

The Billionaire Bad Boys Club

The Billionaire Bad Boys Club - Emma Holly It's really a 4.5 stars. Cheesy ending but holy hotness w/the sex/ménage/BDSM scenes.

Moscow Dreams

Moscow Dreams - Julia Gousseva It's really a 4.5 star.

Killing Sarai (Killing Sarai, #1)

Killing Sarai (Killing Sarai, #1) - J.A. Redmerski I enjoyed e book. Though I wouldn't label it dark. Will say the author got me at the end when I found out there's more to the story. So you can imagine my super disappointment that it was not out yet.
Anyways... This is my first book from this author. Writing was great love dual POV's. Sex scene was hot when it finally happened at around 87%. That's right, don't go into this book w/you head in the gutter like me. Enjoy the action, adventure, the intense nature and suspense then your one and a quarter love scene.

I'm desperate for the next book. J.A. Redmerski throw me a bone, I need an excerpt to make it until the next book. Safe to say your on my authors to watch.

Creed (Unfinished Hero, #2)

Creed (Unfinished Hero, #2) - Kristen Ashley The series should be called Badasses.
Creed is my dream weaver.

Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget todays pain
